Shri Vijay Rupani is the 16th Chief Minister of Gujarat state. He was born on 2nd August, 1956 at Rangoon in Jain Bania family of Ramniklal Rupani. He grew up in Rajkot and studied Bachelor of Arts and LLB from Saurashtra University. He began his political career as a student activist and associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and eventually become Rajya Sabha Member, MLA, Cabinet Minister and then CM.
Known for his amiable personality and empathic attitude, CM Shri Vijay Rupani is a beloved leader of both, party and people. A longtime karyakarta and a humble leader, his patience and perseverance makes him an exceptional leader. Mr V.J. Pandya, has taken up the mantle of ED-Asset Manager of Mehsana Asset the highest producing Onshore Asset of ONGC on 28th July, 2016. For Mr. V.J. Pandya, ED-Asset Manager, Mehsana Asset is not a new place to start with, prior to this coveted assignment, he was the first Chief Drilling Services (Onshore) of ONGC and posted in Vadodara In his earlier avatar, he headed the Drilling Services of Mehsana Asset and took his department to a new high and in the process earned ‘Manager of the Year’ Award in 2014.

Mr Pandya, known for his techno-managerial capabilities, is credited with deployment of innovative approach and new technology to arrest decline in output from the ageing fields of ONGC’s Western Onshore Assets.

He holds B.E degree in Mechanical Engineering. Having a never-ending lust for knowledge acquisition, he has successfully completed his MBA in Finance too.

On taking over as Asset Manager of Mehsana Asset, Mr Pandya has set priorities to take the Asset to new heights. Just after taking charge of the Asset he called a special Operational Review Meeting (ORM) and clearly said, “Top priority will be accorded to fulfil the “Mission 6000” as envisioned by Director (Onshore).” He further added that Safety is another priority, on which no compromise will be made. He also emphasised on transparent corporate governance, continuous and effective ‘Swaachata Abhiyan’ of Office Complex, ONGC Nagar, fields and installations and welfare of the employees and other stakeholders.

With his rich experience, the Mehsana Asset is poised to touch greater heights and receive enthusiasm and expertise in abundance to harness the potential of Mehsana Asset.
